The Three Dollar Bridge fishing access site (pictured to the far left) on the famous Madison River is only 6 miles from Wilderness Edge. Other stretches of the Madison River plus Quake Lake, Hebgen Lake, and waters in and around Yellowstone Park are within easy driving range.
Cliff Lake itself, is a pristine rainbow trout habitat. Fly fishing in the mornings and evenings usually prove successful. Spin casting from shore or trolling also yield good catches during the season. Right next to Cliff Lake is Wade Lake, known for record Browns. For those willing to take a hike and fish some great mountain lakes, the trailhead to Goose, Otter and Hidden Lake is literally at your doorstep.
